Farmer's Market

Genesis is here visiting me and Addison and today we took her to the Farmer's Market in St. Pete. The weather was amazing around 78 degrees. I have to say I was not feeling the love walking around with my Bama shirt on since we play Florida tonight!! :)

11 months

I know I say it all the time, but  I really can't believe how fast Addison is growing up! I can not believe she will be a year old next month. She is definitely keeping us busy these days. She is running around the house constantly. I don't think I ever get to sit down. She loves people she is going to be a little social butterfly that is for sure. She is talking like crazy we just don't understand her all the time. Her favorite word to say is DOG! She loves Jade I can't say that Jade loves her as much unless it is dinner time. Addison is constantly running after Jade and the Jade is always running the other direction. :) Addison's new thing these days is holding her play phone to her ear and saying yeah yeah yeah like she is talking. I wonder where she got that from. :) She is a handful but worth ever minute of it!!

Huntsville

We went to Huntsville this past weekend for my sister's wedding reception. It was the most beautiful reception I have ever seen. My mom and Jase's mom did a fantastic job. They should really do this professionally.I hate that I really didn't have a chance to take any pictures. I only have a few from the reception. I was so busy running around with Addison and talking to everyone I kept forgetting to take pictures.

Oatmeal

Addison is doing a great job using her spoon. This morning she practiced with some oatmeal.

My dear friend Danielle has worked so hard on making the invitations for Addison's birthday and I just want to say thank you!! You are such an amazing friend. I honestly don't know what I would have done without you all these years. I love you so much and I am so grateful to have a friend like you.

Off she goes

So it is official Addison is walking! She still stumbles at times, but she really started taking off the past few days. Oh my we better watch out. I have a feeling this one is going to be everywhere.

10 Months

I can't believe I am even writing the number 10! It just can't be right that my baby is 10 months old. Where does all the time go?

Addison has been keeping us extremely busy. I don't think she sits still for a minute. She still isn't walking. She takes a few steps here and there, but doesn't keep going. She now has 6 teeth and loves to brush them. She is starting to become a very picky eater. I have to trick her at times in order to get her to eat some veggies. She has been talking like crazy although we really don't understand what she is saying most of the time. The funniest thing is she now grabs the remote control and points it to the tv in order for it to come on. (I think she has watched daddy a little too much)

Happy 30th Birthday Aunt Chrissy!! We hope you have a great day. Wish we could be there with you to celebrate. LOVE YOU!!!

Dancing with the girls

Genesis and Stephanie are visiting us for the week and Addison is having a blast with these tow. Today the three of them were dancing together. Addison loved it!! :)

9 months

Addison is 9 months today and into everything!!! I really think I may have my sister's child sometimes. She acts just like Chrissy STUBBORN !!! :) If you tell her no she just looks at you and smiles that is exactly what my sister did as a kid.  We are really going to have our hands full with this one!!

She has been standing without holding on to anything for a few weeks now and yesterday took two steps!! She also has four teeth and is now into biting us and anything else she can find!! She has started waving and saying bye bye and I believe is saying JJ ( what we call the dog). She also loves to feed Jade whatever is on her tray. The dog now has a new best friend. She is really growing up fast.

On a sad note we lost our sweet Riley this week. She will be missed things just won't be the same without her.

4th of July

We had a great day yesterday. We were up bright and early for the parade. Addison had a blast at the parade. She managed to collect more beads than anyone at the parade. :) Everytime someone would walk pass they would shower her with beads. Cute.  We took her last night to see the firworks she stayed awake for most of it, but towards the Grand Finale couldn't keep her eyes open.. Hope everyone had a great 4th!

Aquarium

We decided to take Addison to the Aquarium yesterday since it has been raining almost everyday this week. It must have been bring your baby to the aquarium day because there were so many babies there yesterday. I guess everyone in Tampa had the same idea as us

8 months

WOW!! 8 months!! I can't believe it. My little girl is growing up way too fast. She is keeping us busy. She is into everything!! She has 2 teeth that are already in and 2 more that are coming through now. She loves just about anything you feed her tofu, avocados, asparagus, broccoli you name it she will eat it. I hope she always loves her veggies this much!! She is pulling up on everything now and is even standing briefly on her own and trying to walk around stuff. She is in the big kids yoga class. She is the youngest one in there, but manages to keep up with the rest of them. She is such a good baby never meets a stranger. We couldn't be more blessed. I am looking forward to seeing what's ahead.

Sweet Riley

We just found out yesterday that Riley (my parents' dog and Jade's sister) has liver failure and pancreatic cancer. The doctor said she only has about two months to live. This is very devastating news to my entire family. We are so heartbroken. Riley is the youngest of my parents' three dogs and my dad's favorite child!! I often say that if the house was on fire he would save Riley before any of us. :) Please pray for this sweet girl that she will pull through this.

Father's Day

Charles' first Father's Day was short and sweet. We were able to go to breakfast before he had to get on the plane to Israel for Jackee's wedding.

Chrissy and Jase

Congratulations to my sister and Jase who were married June 17, 2011. I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness! I love you both.

Beach

We were finally able to go to the beach yesterday. It was a great day for it. We made sure we were up and out of the house early (7:45 am)  to beat the Memorial day crowd. Addison had a blast playing in the sand and I had just as much fun trying to get the sand off of her!! :) It was a great day! I have to admit although I miss living in Nashville at times it sure is nice to have so many beaches to choose from all within 45 minutes.
